In A 1980 Event.

Between A Coast Guard Cutter 

And A Tanker, During A Storm. 

Sudden Torrential Rains And 70 mph Winds. 

There Was Loss Of Life 

23 On The Cutter With,

 35 Lost On The Roadway. 

The New Span Took Four Years To Build. 

With Many Safety Features. 

Another Collision Occurred, 

A Shrimp Boat Hit The Bumpers 

Added For Protection.

This Was The New Structure, 

Minimal Damage To Placements. 

The Principle Structure Was Not Affect.

The New Architectural Wonder, 

Is An Eye Catcher. 

Over And Out

Captured Under Natural Day Time Light 

Modified For The Web Presentation Display 

Mastered For Sizing And Shaping 

 Working The Core Plain,
